Back to Implementation and Training Overview
Web-Based Training
| Cost | $125 per hour |
|---|---|
| Duration | 1 hour |
| Date & Time | Instructor availability is posted on the training schedule found in Client Central. |
| Location | Your choice. Sessions require access to a phone and high-speed Internet access. |
| Attendees | Multiple. Due to the interactive and hands-on nature of web-based training sessions, sessions with more than five attendees are typically much less effective. |
| Instruction | The instructor connects with attendees via an online conferencing tool. The instructor and attendees work together on the live PropertyBoss client data. |
When do I call Client Care and when do I schedule training?
Client Care is intended for technical issues about installation or how your PropertyBoss is working. These are typically short (no longer than 15 minutes) questions. Training is intended for 15+ minute calls where you need to learn how particular features in the software work. Training sessions need to be scheduled in advance (with at least 48 hour notice for the instructor).
What if I want more other people to attend a training session?
The training confirmation sent from the instructor contains the login information and can be sent the individuals that will be particiapting in the session. We recommend keeping the number of participants to limited number to ensure the effectiveness of the session.
Will I receive training documentation that covers the same topics as my online web session?
No, currently we do not deliver printed documentation with the web session. However, most of the topics can be found in the online help, Einstein Answers, delivered to every client with the software.
Classroom Training
| Cost | $895 per attendee – must be paid in full 2 weeks prior to the class. |
|---|---|

Will we cover how to interface PropertyBoss to QuickBooks?
No, we do not cover the PropertyBoss interface to QuickBooks during the class. If you are interested in the topic, you can stay after the class on day two for an hour long introduction. For additional help, you can schedule a one- hour web-based implementation session to complete your setup of the interface with hands-on help from a PropertyBoss trainer.
Will we cover how to use the portals and add-on modules like email?
While the portal and add-on module use is often referenced at a high-level during the class, we do not cover detailed instruction on their setup or use.
Will I receive a copy of the PropertyBoss User Guide?
No, you will not receive a copy of the PropertyBoss User Guide, but you will receive a training workbook that provides instructions for all of the topics that will be covered in class. You can make notes in this workbook and take it with you.
Do I need to bring anything with me to the class?
No, you do not need to bring a laptop or any other materials with you. You will be provided with a workstation at the training facility and a training workbook.
On-Site Training
| Cost | $1250 per day (plus instructor travel time and expenses). |
|---|---|
| Duration | 2-3 days |
| Date & Time | Your choice (the instructor typically needs a two week notice). |
| Location | Your facility |
Will I receive training documentation that covers the topics of my on-site session?
No, we typically do not develop documentation specific to on-site training. However, most of the topics can be found in the online help, Einstein Answers. Clients that choose to do a classroom-style on-site with little variation from the agenda of our local classroom training can request a copy of the classroom training workbook to personally print and distribute to attendees.
How do we plan what will be covered for our on-site?
Clients typically want one of two styles: (1) implementation-style or (2) classroom style.
Implementation-style – lends itself to three or less people as the instructor will help the attendees work on their live PropertyBoss data to enter startup information and basic data entry (properties, units, leases) as well as system preferences. The agenda is fairly loose and flexible, but still determined ahead of time through discussion of client needs and goals.
Classroom-style – typically better for more than three attendees and has a structured agenda with topics on which to train numerous attendees over several days. The PropertyBoss classroom training agenda is used as a basis for which to create a customized agenda for the on-site.
