What are the system requirements?

Following are the system requirements for stand-alone and networked versions of PropertyBoss:

Other Software The following software is recommended for the following PropertyBoss features: Export to Excel — Microsoft Excel 2003 or higher; Merge to Word — Microsoft Word 2003 or higher.

Where is my company data stored?

By default, it is on the C:/ drive in the PropertyBoss data directory.

Does PropertyBoss require training?

PropertyBoss Solutions does not make training mandatory, but we highly encourage all of our customers to sign-up. Training benefits the customer by helping them to make the most out of our very robust property management software solution, PropertyBoss.

When do I call ClientCare and when do I schedule training?

ClientCare was designed to help you fix technical issues and insure PropertyBoss is working properly. HelpDesk requests are typically short questions that are generally no longer than 15 minutes.

We offer several options in training choices which are designed to help you learn how particular features of PropertyBoss work. Training sessions need to be scheduled in advance (with at least 48 hour notice for the instructor).

What if I want other people to attend a training session?

The training confirmation sent from the instructor contains the login information and can be sent to the individuals that will be participating in the session. We recommend limiting the number of participants to ensure the effectiveness of the session.

Will I receive training documentation that covers the same topics as my online web session?

No, we don’t deliver printed documentation with the web session. However, training topics can be found in our online help, EinsteinAnswers, that is directly accessible from within PropertyBoss or directly accessed at anytime through the internet.

Will the Classroom session cover how to interface PropertyBoss to QuickBooks?

No, we do not cover the PropertyBoss interface to QuickBooks during the class. If you are interested in the topic, you can stay after the class on day three for an hour long introduction. For additional help, you can schedule a web-based implementation session to complete your setup of the interface with hands-on help from a PropertyBoss Solutions trainer.

Will the Classroom session cover the PropertyBoss Internal General Ledger?

During the last half of day 3, the class will cover the basic use and navigation of the PropertyBoss General Ledger. This introduction will help you better understand the functionality and how the system ties the individual transaction data into the overall accounting file.

Will the Classroom session cover how to use the web portals and enhanced features like email?

While the web portals and enhanced features are referenced during the class, we do not include detailed instruction on setup and use. We recommend scheduling Web-based or On-site Training for topics involving setup and use of web portals and enhanced features.
